We are incredibly grateful for our Church body and how God is using this group of believers to make an impact for the Kingdom. At Image Church, our vision is to reflect the image of Jesus by making, maturing, and multiplying disciples in our city, nation, and world. Our mission is to help people be disciples who make disciples of Jesus. We keep both of these guideposts at the forefront of all that we do and are proud to share our 2022 year in review with you!

The Holy Spirit worked mightily on Sunday mornings. Everyone who came through the doors here heard the Gospel message! The worship team grew and continued to point us to Jesus and help us celebrate and honor Him.
We hosted Generation Sundays throughout the year where our entire Church body from babies on up to grandparents worshiped in the auditorium. These were special times where we could model for our children worshiping through prayer, song, and getting into the Word together.
We invited others to join in and new friends found us online. People connected and started plugging in. We helped people come to know Jesus and grow in their faith, and heard amazing stories of life change. New members joined on mission at Image.
We celebrated new life in Jesus with Baptisms this Spring.
We asked our Church body to make deeper commitments to Image, building on their investments of time, talent, and treasure and our members stepped up! From holding babies, to greeting guests, to hosting groups, and working behind the scenes, volunteers made Image Church’s mission possible.
We loved the opportunity to celebrate marriages, new babies, and child dedications!
We’re thankful for our staff who work throughout the week to make what we do here possible and for our Senior Leadership Team who help provide direction and serve tirelessly.
We ordained Thomas Barnette as our Student Pastor and are incredibly grateful for his and Amy’s investment in the next generation here at Image.
Over the past year, our Impact students have grown in numbers and in their walk with Jesus. We have seen students grow spiritually and own their faith. They have shared stories of telling others about Jesus and brought friends on Sundays. Our students serve on Sundays and invest in the next generation behind them.
Our I-Kids had fun each week while keeping the focus on Jesus! We learned about His love for us and how we could share it with others. Our I-Kids team was committed to helping our youngest disciples grow in their faith.
We strived to reach the nations for Jesus through our partnerships with The Timothy Initiative and the Welsby family in Australia.
We showed the love of Jesus locally by helping the Hornets at Fred Lynn Middle School throughout the year with needed school supplies and personal hygiene items.
Thank you to everyone who helped the Hornets at Fred Lynn Middle School this Christmas season! We had the opportunity to support our neighboring students and families who can't afford to purchase basic hygiene items like toothpaste and combs. This helps kids go to school feeling clean and confident and alleviate a level of stress and worry.
Fred Lynn Middle School has over 1,300 students and more than 80% are economically disadvantaged. Access to supplies we might take for granted can restore a students’ sense of dignity and increase their self-esteem. When basic necessities are met, students can feel confident making friends and empowered to participate and thrive in class.
Pastor Chris delivered supplies contributed by Image Church members to Erin Lowery, teacher and Image Church member, and Principal Inmar Romero at Fred Lynn Middle School.
Together, we showed the love of Jesus by contributing:

135 tubes of toothpaste
77 packs of hair ties
70 hairbrushes
141 deodorants
21 floss sets
9 chapsticks
7 soaps
and 6 bottles of shampoo!
