Q: Is EGIVE Safe and Secure?
The electronic signup is done using 128-bit encryption for the highest level of security.
Q: How does EGIVE work?
Sign up for eGive and your giving is deducted by Automated Clearing House (ACH) debit from your deposit account.
Q: When I click Begin Giving Online nothing happens?
When you click Begin Giving Online, a new browser window is opened. If you are using a pop-up blocker such as the Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security, or Pop-Up Stopper, the window will not open. Most tools will allow you to permit pop-ups on a specific web site. In order to use the Giving area, you will need to allow pop-ups within the Image website.
Q: When would this automatic contribution be charged to my account?
On the signup screens, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it is possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one.
Q: Can I test this by giving one time?
Yes. You may test Online Giving by selecting “One Time Gift” during the signup process.
Q: What if I change the amount of my contribution?
You can change your giving amount any time by clicking on "Change giving" link.
Q: How do I participate in the weekly offering if my contribution is automatically processed online?
If you wish, you can write “I’m giving online” on the giving envelope and place it in the offering basket, but it is not necessary.
