Our Mission - Helping people be disciples who make disciples of Jesus
A disciple is a surrendered follower of Jesus, being transformed by the Holy Spirit, learning and doing the revealed will of the Father.
MAKE - [The Great Confession]
Matthew 16:13-16 - Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" And they said, "Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Romans 10:9 - because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
MATURE - [The Great Commands]
Matthew 22:37-39 - And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
MULTIPLY - [The Great Commission]
Matthew 28:19-20 - “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Values - We do what we value. We value what Jesus valued and commanded us to do - Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples.
We Love God [WORSHIP] - a disciple of Jesus begins and sustains the mission by worshiping God with all of their life
We Love Others [COMMUNITY] - a disciple of Jesus accomplishes the mission by loving and serving others
We Make Disciples [SERVICE] - a disciple of Jesus lives life on mission by making disciples that make disciples
We gather Sundays in person at 10:30 a.m.
